One of the most-talked about adventure-type scooter which almost 'everyone' is so hyped of is this new ADV 150 brought to us by one of the formidable Honda.
It was first unveiled in Indonesia and now in Philippines! The Honda ADV150 is powered by a 149.33cc single engine. Honda claims that it can rev up 14.2hp at 8,500rpm, with a peak torque of 13.8Nm at 6,500rpm. Ultimately, the engine provides an overall driving range of around 350km. The entrant's curb weight settles at 133kg, or just over 293 pounds. The ADV 150 is priced at PHP 149,000.
Taking a good look with its fabulously designed LED Tail lights has just another specs! The ESS ( Emergency Stop Signal) where it glows brightly red to alert the rider following you.
In addition, its suspension comprises of conventional front forks (Quite Bad they did not use USD Forks for it) up front and twin Showa gas-charged shock absorbers right in its rear. The vehicle's wheel sizes, on the other hand, come with a 14-inch at the front and a 13-inch in its rear.
By the way, the Philippine version has ABS too! However, ABS works just for the front brakes. Actually, the rear brakes are discs too ,so not bad!
The U-Box of ADV 150 is just fine too you can even put your raincoats and extra tools there,However, you cannot put your FULL FACE HELMET there only a Half-Face Helmet would do.
Overall, the MINI Version of X ADV 750 is not bad for it is more affordable compared to its big brother. ADV 150 is a more "nakaw tingin" bike compared to other "paporma" scoots (which he actually also possess). So, are you ADVenture-ride it?
Yes!
